The Outreach Program, an important initiative of ShawChicago, was organized in 1997. It has performed in a wide range of institutions in the greater Chicago area, including colleges and universities, high schools, libraries, retirement homes and private events.

ShawChicago offers selected scenes from a variety of Shaw's plays, one-acts and full productions, all in the concert reading format.
